Coach’s Corner:

Head Coach John Heathcott praised the team’s performance, stating: “Effort was there from everyone tonight. Our young guys have been getting important reps and our vets are starting to string together some high IQ matches. We have pieced together parts of this lineup all year and I am excited about anyone we throw out there. We picked up two Region wins tonight and one important one inside our district. Back to work”

Assistant Coach Dane Peoples added, “Team was very energetic for the new year of wrestling. A lot of freshmen in the lineup tonight with our upperclassmen showing them the way. Minor clean up for our young guys and we’re gonna be ok. Love this team for how much they are trusting in us coaching. Future is bright!”
