Blackman improved its dual record to 8 – 1 after hosting the Mt. Juliet Bears and the Tullahoma Wildcats this week at Blackman High School. On the way to a solid 61 – 12 win over Mt. Juliet, Blackman sophomore Tyler Garrison tried to find out just how tough he really was. After a nice lift and dump for two points, Tyler’s match was stopped after he noticed that his hand didnt feel quite right. In a minute and a half injury time out, the trainer straightened out his dislocated digit, taped it up and Tyler went back on the mat and toughed out a nice win! Great job! I dont think he needs that finger anyway. 😉
The second match of the night was against Coach Bray’s former school, Tullahoma. The Blaze seemed ready to get this one over with as they cruised to an easy 72 – 3 victory with 10 pins against the Wildcats! Looking sharp guys! Now on to Cleveland!
