Coach Bray took a group of Blackman wrestlers to the annual JV State tournament held this year at the new Nolensville High School. The tournament is a great way to get much needed live match experience for our wrestlers and it’s a great opportunity for coaches to gain more insight on what skills our guys need to improve.

The guys who didn’t earn a medal were not without effort. Several of our guys had to wrestle their own teammates and overall the brackets were filled with a lot of upcoming talent. No one is just laying on their back hoping to get pinned by a Blackman kid. All in all, our wrestlers had a great day and learned much. Proud of all the strong efforts!!
