UTC Team Camp was a big Success! Coach Bray took several wrestlers down to UT-Chattanooga last week for Team Camp with the UTC guys. Coach Eslinger, Coach Mansueto, Coach Hatcher, and Coach Sioredas put on a great camp and challenged our guys to work hard and most importantly…….GET BETTER!!! Special thanks as well to Kevin “Special K” Malone for working with our guys and beating them down when they needed it!
The guys got a snapshot of the life of a college wrestler during the four days in Chattanooga. They stayed in the dorms across from McClellan Gym, ate cafeteria food and did their best not to stay up clowning around all night. (I don’t think some were completely successful with the whole not clowning around thing though..….)
In spite of a couple of very close duals not going our way, Blackman had a GREAT outing during the camp. The boys went 6-3 in dual matches and those 3 losses were by a combined total of only 8 points……..ugh. As someone put it, we are on the verge! View the photo galleries HERE
