Blackman wrestlers and most importantly, their PARENTS and COACHES, went to UTC this past weekend to perform a civic duty and donate blood at the “Wrestle-4-Life” event held by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Wrestling Team. I have to admit that giving blood is not the easiest thing in the world get people interested in so we want to throw a big salute to those who went and faced their fears and helped save a life!!!
Although the level of participation was WAY BELOW what we had hoped for, I still believe that UTC will travel to Blackman sometime to put on a special wrestling camp for us. Thanks again to all who gave their time and GAS!!! Let’s shoot for bigger numbers next year!
