Peyton Adams Medals at the MTWOA Grand Nationals

Several Blackman wrestlers competed this weekend at the Middle Tennessee Wrestling Officials Association Grand Championship (MTWOA) which was held at McGavock High School in Nashville.

The tournament is sponsored and run by Middle Tennessee area referees and is designed to give Freshman and JV wrestlers an opportunity to compete with guys who are of similar age and/or skill than they are.

Blackman medalists were:

F97 – Peyton Adams – placed 4th and scored 13.00 team points.
F126A – Hunter Dallas – placed 3rd and scored 19.00 team points.

Peyton has been out for most of the season with a broken hand so coming in and grabbing a medal in his first tournament back was a nice accomplishment!

Several of our other guys got some great matches and many got an opportunity to compete for the first time in real a tournament format.  It was valuable experience for all.  Thanks to Coach Dario Rudas for cornering the guys!!

Congrats again to Peyton and Hunter!!
