There is nothing more beautiful than the sight of wall to wall wrestling mats on the gym floor. Last weekend, Blackman wrestlers finally got the chance to get in some live wrestling with guys who are not on their own team!! Blackman hosted SIXTEEN teams from around the area and revived the Early Bird Pre-Season Tournament. There was no shortage of competition and good wrestling! It was a great opportunity for some of our guys to show off what they have accomplished over the summer for others to shake off the nervousness and get their first match behind them!!
Once the first whistle blew, the tournament ran smoothly and even finished off an hour early! Lots of compliments were received on the tournament and the hospitality room. The parent support by the Blaze family was HUGE and we couldn’t have put on such a great tournament without all the help and support we received!! It’s a great sign of things to come at Blackman!!
